PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute channel estimation based on a non-pilot symbol quickly.SOLUTION: A channel estimation device 10 estimates a communication path state, i.e., the state of a communication path for propagating a wireless signal, based on the wireless signal containing a pilot symbol and a non-pilot symbol. The channel estimation device includes pilot processing sections 123, 125, non-pilot processing sections 125, 126, 127, and a channel estimating section 128. The pilot processing section changes the phase of a pilot symbol by a predetermined first change amount, in association with the pilot symbol. The non-pilot processing section selects one of multiple candidate change amounts as a second change amount, based on the phase of the pilot symbol after change, and changes the phase of the non-pilot symbol by the second change amount thus selected. A channel estimating section estimates the communication path state based on the pilot symbol and non-pilot symbol subjected to phase change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
