Abstract:
This charge state estimation apparatus is provided with: a setting unit that uses, as a circuit parameter, a parameter of an equivalent circuit model of a battery, the value of which varies in accordance with the temperature of the battery, selects, from among a plurality of temperature ranges set by dividing the operating temperature range of the battery, the temperature range that includes the temperature acquired by the temperature acquisition unit, and sets upper and lower limit values of the circuit parameter to correspond to the boundaries of the selected temperature range; and a gain calculation unit that calculates an observer gain used in the observer on the basis of the upper and lower limit values of the circuit parameter set by the setting unit.
