Abstract:
To provide a coating device which stabilizes a hue, brightness, luminous feeling and finishing property of a coated matter.SOLUTION: A coating device 10 includes a cover wall 20 in which a coating booth 20S is secured in a cylindrical side peripheral wall 21 extending in a vertical direction, a coated matter support base 30 on which a coated matter T is mounted in the coating booth 20S, a spray gun 40 that sprays a coating material onto a coated matter T from the above, an air supply device 50 connected to an upper position of the spray gun in the cover wall 20, an exhaust device 60 connected to a lower end opening of the cover wall 20, and a lower filter 72 blocking a lower position of the coated matter support base 30 inside the side peripheral wall 21, in which the coating booth 20S has a main chamber part 20S1 extending in the vertical direction with a constant cross section and a lower chamber part that includes a tapered chamber part 20S2 formed downward from the lower end of the main chamber part 20S1 in a tapered shape and extends to the lower filter 72, and the coated matter support base 30 supports the coated matter T in the main chamber part of the coating booth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
