PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce useless materials or man-hours by efficiently implementing color accuracy verification.SOLUTION: A color accuracy verification prediction method implements: first processing for inputting a condition of color accuracy verification; second processing for acquiring a hue value of a color chart that is outputted without color management; third processing for creating a printer profile from the hue value; fourth processing for calculating a hue theoretical value T of an attention color using a target profile; fifth processing for calculating a hue theoretical value S after color management using the hue theoretical value T and the printer profile, sixth processing for calculating a hue theoretical value V after color management in the case where a peak density is varied, using the hue theoretical value S and hue value differential data; seventh processing for predicting a result of the color accuracy verification based on an operation success rate calculated from the hue theoretical value T, the hue theoretical value S, the hue theoretical value V and a standard deviation σ in the variation of the peak density; and eighth processing for outputting a predicted result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5(a)
