Abstract:

A communications network comprising: a communications control device (L2 switch) capable of making VLAN settings; a first VLAN set by the communications control device and allocated to communications for a monitored person-monitoring support system; and a second VLAN set by the communications control device and allocated to communications for a different system from the monitored person-monitoring support system. The communications control device is capable of making settings that prioritize communications from one over the other, out of the first VLAN and the second VLAN.
