Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a density measurement device that can be reduced in size without using an optical fiber. [Solution] The present invention comprises: a measurement cell 13 having a gas flow path 11 and an optical path 12 that intersects the gas flow path 11; a light source 14 for irradiating the interior of the optical path 12 with light, the light source 14 being installed at one end of the optical path 12; a first optical detector 15 installed at a location to the side of the light source and rearward from the distal end of the light source 14 in a light irradiation direction following the optical axis X of the light source 14, the first optical detector 15 detecting the light emitted from the light source 14 as reference light; and a second detector 16 installed at the other end of the optical path 12, the second detector 14 detecting the light emitted from the light source 14 for use in measuring light absorption.
