Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict congestion at a railway station using social media information.SOLUTION: A congestion prediction server 108 acquires social media data written within a predetermined time from a social media data accumulation server 103, and acquires the number of persons in a station yard for every predetermined time from an entry/exit number tabulation server 107. Using the acquired number of persons and social media data of the station yard, the congestion prediction server predicts the number of persons in the station yard after current time.
