Abstract:
To provide a connector device capable of attaining enlargement of an effective transmission frequency band under forming first and second parallel rows by arraying and disposing contact ends of multiple signal and ground contacts supported by an insulation housing on a circuit board in a circuit board surface direction.SOLUTION: A first contact row formed from multiple first signal contacts and multiple first ground contacts 26 and a second contact row formed from multiple second signal contacts and multiple second ground contacts are supported by an insulation housing 14. In a state where a length from a contact end 32 to a connection end 33 of the first ground contacts 26 is set longer than a length from a contact end of the second ground contacts to a connection end within a range that does not exceed a double of the length, an intermediate part 41 between the contact end 32 and the connection end 33 in the first ground contacts 26 is connected to a conductive shell 17 which is mounted to the insulation housing 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
