Abstract:
To provide a connector which can electrically connect a metal shell to a metal case (or make them into contact with each other) in a reliable manner.SOLUTION: In a connector, a metal shell 6 has: a cylindrical part 61; and a flange-like flat plate part 62 protruding from one end of the cylindrical part 61 to the outside. By engaging a resin body 5 with an inner side of the cylindrical part 61 from a one-end opening of the cylindrical part 61, a contact 4 is aligned and fixed to the inner side of the cylindrical part 61 by the resin body 5. The connector further comprises an annular flat metal plate 7 which is fitted to the flat plate part 62 in a manner overlapping the flat plate part 62 from the one-end side of the cylindrical part 61, and which is electrically connected to the metal shell 6. The flat metal plate 7 is provided with a spring contact piece 71 which comes into elastic contact with a metal case 140, serving as a cover around an electronic device unit 100, when the connector 1 is fitted to the electronic device unit 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
