Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming a sealing film for solar cells, which is used for forming the sealing film capable of preventing a power generating element of the solar cell from being cracked and which can prevent a sticking problem from occurring when the sealing film is produced.SOLUTION: The composition for forming the sealing film for solar cells contains: a resin mixture comprising an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and polyethylene; and an organic peroxide. A mass ratio (EVA:PE) of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) to the polyethylene (PE) is 8:2 to 3:7 and the vinyl acetate content of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is 30-40 mass%. The sealing film for solar cells is obtained by forming the composition for forming the sealing film for solar cells.
