Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for electrode modification which enables the selective and efficient attachment to an electrode surface, and which enables the execution of a process for increase in electric charge transfer exclusively on an electrode surface e.g. in manufacturing an organic thin film transistor.SOLUTION: A composition for electrode modification of the present invention comprises: (A) a thiol compound of which the ionization potential is 5.0-6.1 eV; and (B) a solvent. The (B) component includes (B1) alcohol-based solvent of which the boiling point is 150-250°C. The surface tension of the composition is 30-50 mN/m.
