Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of an empty groove as a vibration countermeasure, which enables a narrow empty groove to be formed underground at a deep depth.SOLUTION: Freezing pipes 3 are disposed at a prescribed interval, as freezing means, in a ground 1 near a vibration source. Holes are drilled at a prescribed interval for installing a pipe body in a scheduled area to form an empty groove 13, and a thermometer is inserted into the pipe body. A coolant is circulated through the freezing pipes 3 to build a wall-shaped frozen ground 7 in an area around the scheduled area forming the empty groove 13. After confirming completion of the construction of the frozen ground 7 using the thermometer, the thermometer is pulled out from the pipe body. Then, a heater 5 is installed in the pipe body, and the frozen ground 7 in the scheduled area forming the empty groove 13 is thawed to form a thawed portion 9. The heater 5 is operated and sediment in the thawed portion 9 is carried out while maintaining the thawed portion 9 of the frozen ground 7, and excavation of the empty groove 13 is completed leaving a prescribed thickness of the frozen ground 7. Then, an air conveyance machine 15 is removed and the heater 5 and the pipe body are pulled out, to complete the empty groove 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
