To provide a container free from leakage of contents when discharged to a hopper or having no space collecting the contents in a door.

The container 1 includes: a container body 10 including an opening 11; a cover plate 15 extending outward from the periphery of the opening 11, with which an opening seal of a discharging hopper comes into contact; a swing-open/close-type door 20 for covering the opening 11; and a locking mechanism 40 for locking the door 20 with the opening 11. The locking mechanism 40 includes: an arm 41 rotatably attached to the container body; a roller 45 rotatably attached to the arm 41 for pressing the door 20 against the opening 11; and an actuator for rotating the arm 41 between a close position where the roller 45 presses the door 20 and an open position away from the door 20. An opening or a hole through which the arm 41 passes is not formed between the opening 11 of the container body 10 on the cover plate 15 and an area where the opening seal of the discharging hopper is applied.
