Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To associatively increase a fuel injection amount for making an air-fuel ratio rich in a form that a value of the increase can be properly controlled in terms of the suppression of a knock and an increase of a torque variation when retarding ignition timing for the suppression of the knock, related to a control device of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A combustion index value indicating combustion stability is calculated on the basis of an output value of an in-cylinder sensor 30. When suppressing a knock, ignition timing is retarded. A fuel injection amount is increased so that a combustion index value indicating the actual combustion stability of a retardation execution cycle being a combustion cycle at which the retardation of the ignition timing is performed approximates a target value of a combustion index value indicating the combustion stability of a pre-retardation cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
