Abstract:
An opening and closing control device for a vehicle opening and closing body stops the vehicle opening and closing body in a short time. This opening and closing control device for the vehicle opening and closing body (3) is provided with: an opening and closing drive unit (4) that drives the opening and closing of the vehicle opening and closing body, said opening and closing body opening/closing an opening (2) of a vehicle; and a control unit (29) that performs feedback control on the opening and closing drive unit such that the rotational speed of the opening and closing drive body becomes a preset target speed. When the rotational speed of the vehicle opening and closing body is lower than the target speed, the control unit (29) drives and controls the opening and closing drive unit to execute a nip detection process in which the target speed (TS) is changed to a target speed (STS) for stopping so as to decelerate the rotational speed of the vehicle opening and closing body (3) for a set time, and drives and controls the opening and closing drive unit (4) in accordance with the target stop speed (STS), and stops the turning operation of the vehicle opening and closing body (3) after a set time has elapsed.
