PURPOSE: To automatically separate iron powder from sand by controlling the drive of a magnetic separator with signals from both level sensors for discriminating whether the sand mixed with the iron powder is stored or not and whether the iron powder and the sand are filled up or not.
CONSTITUTION: In the iron separator 40 for separating the sand mixing the iron powder into the iron and the sand by using a magnet, the level sensor 15 for detecting whether the sand mixed with the iron powder is stored or not and the level sensors 66, 67 for detecting whether the iron powder and the sand are filled up or not, are arranged. Then this device is constituted by providing a controller for controlling the device of the magnetic separator 40 providing the magnetic based on the signals from both sensors. By this method, the sand mixed with the iron powder is separated into the iron and the sand and can automatically be separated in the state of reusable condition.
