Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly complete a copying job even if the value of a power used in a predetermined area exceeds the maximum power value (breaker trips off) when the copying job is executed with an image forming apparatus in the predetermined area.SOLUTION: When a request source device receives a copying job as a request job, and a power consumption when the request source device performs scanning processing does not exceed a remaining power and a total power consumption when the request source device performs the scanning processing and print processing exceeds the remaining power, a management device designates, as an alternative print destination, any one of image forming apparatuses in a predetermined area having a remaining power left even when the apparatus performs the print processing, and causes the request source device to perform the scanning processing and the alternative print destination to perform the print processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
