Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method for a laser ignition plug on a laser ignition engine capable of securing a cooling source to be supplied for cooling the laser ignition plug by using equipment system incidental to a system.SOLUTION: In a cooling method for a laser ignition plug on a laser ignition engine, the laser ignition plug performs cooling by using a cooling source by means of an equipment system incidental to a system provided with a gas engine on which the laser ignition plug is mounted. As the system provided with the gas engine, a cogeneration system, a fuel supply system of a marine engine and an engine with a supercharger are used. Further, in order to utilize the cooling source brought to the laser ignition plug, a heat insulation layer can be provided on the laser ignition plug.
