To provide a conjugate fiber which is obtained by melt-kneading a specific fluorine-containing polymer and then spinning the polymer, and effectively exhibits a liquid-repelling property, even if the fluorine-containing polymer is added in a small amount.

This conjugate fiber has a sheath-core structure comprising (A) a core comprising a thermoplastic resin and (B) a sheath comprising a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 225°C and a fluorine-containing compound, wherein the fluorine-containing compound is a fluorine-containing polymer having repeating units derived from a fluorine-containing polymerizable compound containing a 1-21C linear or branched fluoroalkyl group or fluoroalkenyl group, or a fluorine-containing urethane compound containing a 1-21C linear or branched fluoroalkyl group or fluoroalkenyl group, and the amount of the fluorine-containing compound is 0.1 to 10.0 wt.% based on the sheath.
