Abstract:
To provide a cosmetic container allowing for realizing a size reduction by making it compact and inhibiting a lid from unintentionally falling out of a container body.SOLUTION: A cosmetic container 1 according to one embodiment includes a container body 10 having mountain-like projections 18 and circumferential projections 19, in which respective ones of the mountain-like projection 18 and the circumferential projection 19 protrude from a side face. A lid 20 has a plurality of valley-like projection 25 and engaging projections 26. In a state where the lid 20 is placed on the container body 10, the mountain-like projection 18 enters between one pair of valley-like projections 25 arranged along a circumferential direction D3, and the circumferential projection 19 goes into engagement with one pair of engaging projections 26 in an axial direction D1. When the lid 20 is rotated in the circumferential direction D3 relatively to the container body 10, the valley-like projection 25 runs on the mountain-like projection 18 and the one pair of engaging projections 26 move in the circumferential direction D3 to cancel the engagement of the circumferential projection 19 in the axial direction D1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
