Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device saving a space, and capable of effectively exhibiting a vibration control effect.SOLUTION: A vibration control device includes: a first arm 11 that extends along a member 2 of a structure 1 in which flexural deformation occurs due to vibration from outside, of which one end side in a longitudinal direction is attached to the member 2, and of which the one end side in the longitudinal direction is arranged on the side where a displacement amount in flexural deformation of the member 2 is relatively large, with respect to the other end side in the longitudinal direction; and a vibration control member 13 attached to the other end side in the longitudinal direction of the first arm 11. The vibration control member 13 dissipates part of flexural deformation energy of the member 2 by deformation due to displacement of the first arm 11 accompanied with the flexural deformation of the member 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
