Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform the insertion processing of new data by reducing a calculation amount necessary for the calculation of penalty, and to increase search efficiency by suppressing the number of nodes to follow in search.SOLUTION: A data group, a UBI-Tree structure and a noticing attribute list in which attributes to be used for the calculation of penalty are preliminarily defined are preliminarily stored in a storage unit 3, and when new data are inserted into the UBI-Tree structure, only the attributes pertinent to the attributes defined in the noticing attribute list among the attributes owned by the new data are used to calculate penalty such that the new data are inserted. Also, a dimension suppression penalty invalidation flag is further stored in the storage unit 3, and when the flag is set to an on-state, not the number of attribute types included in the nodes but only probability that the nodes are searched is used as penalty.
