Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for filling cans in a spinning machine, which has a simple structure and which can be simply manufactured, and which enable the production at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: In a device for filling scribers as cotton or chemical fibers into cans (flat cans) having an oblong cross section in a spinning machine such as a drawing frame, the scribers are discharged from a coil plate 7 and is accommodated in a ring-like shape, and during filling operation, a can is longitudinally reciprocated, a conveying means 10 is provided between a filling position 8, for example, an empty can storage unit and a full can storage unit, the can enabling reciprocating motion at the filling position so that the can is moved to and from the filling position during conveyance. There is provided a carrying device which can reciprocates the can during filling operation, and which can move the cans to and from the filling position.
