Abstract:
The binder (1) has a conveying device (5) rotating at a machine frame of the binder. A cover (3) has a glue fillet (12) for adhesive connection of the cover with outside sheets of a book block (2), where the glue fillet runs at front edges of cover sheets (16). A deflector device (17) spreads the cover sheets transverse to a conveying direction (F) and is connected with the frame. The deflector device is arranged in the conveying direction according to a cover station (23) along guiding sections (13) of a production line (14), where the guiding sections run diagonally downwards.
