Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device or the like for estimating a location of short-time stay of a user by using base station positional information which can be acquired by a telecommunications carrier facility without starting a positioning function of a mobile terminal.SOLUTION: The device comprises: time window dividing means for dividing a plurality of communication histories into time windows (time phases) of a predetermined short time; stay determination means for determining "stay" in the case of probability distribution of positions based on a plurality of base station positional information items has a single peak for each time window, and determining a predetermined number of or more continuous time windows determined as "stay" as "stay time windows"; position clustering means for defining a center of gravity of the plurality of base station positional information items included in the stay time windows as a "place-of-stay representative point"; and short-time stay place determination means for determining a place-of-stay representative point based on a stay time window subjected to the determination as a "place of short-time stay" in the case where the stay time window subjected to determination is compared with a preceding stay time window, there is the lapse of a predetermined time or more between both the stay time windows and both place-of-stay representative points based on both the time windows are separated by a predetermined distance or more.
