Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method, and program for preventing incorrect recognition of pages even when an image similar to a reference image is present and an incorrect value has been calculated in calculation of similarity.SOLUTION: A device of the present invention estimates the date of description of a page to be opened from the transition of the date of description of pages turned by a user so as to estimate a range of the date of description of a target page. When recognizing the image of the target page, the device eliminates, from candidates of reference images to be compared, one with a low possibility of being a correct answer so as to improve the recognition accuracy of the target page.
