Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device configured to properly control migration to power-saving state according to the location where the device is used.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes a table-information storage section storing a predetermined time which is the time when the device shifts from image-display state to power-saving state where no image is displayed on a display screen, according to a location type, and the time in which the image displayed on the display screen is continuously displayed without changing the content of the image. Location type identifying means identifies one of multiple kinds of location types set in advance corresponding to a current position detected by current position detection means. A predetermined time corresponding to the identified location type is acquired from the storage section. Control means controls migration from the state where an image is displayed on the display screen to power-saving state where no image is displayed on the display screen, on the basis of the acquired predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
