Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device and method capable of outputting a two-dimensional image (plane image) on a display panel on a curved surface with an arbitrary shape, and creating a display image without distortion and displaying the display image on a display device.SOLUTION: A display control device performs mapping processing of a two-dimensional image (plane image) on a curved surface on the basis of a model with a screen shape, and creates a display image from the plane image by using a conversion table in which correction of positional deviation between panels is taken into consideration as well. Therefore, the display control device can output the plane image on a display panel on a curved surface with an arbitrary shape, and create a display image without distortion and display the display image.
