Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle display control device (1) which controls an image reflected by a windshield (70) or a combiner so that a virtual image of the image is visually recognized by an occupant of the vehicle (80). The vehicle display control device generates line images and an obstacle image and acquires the direction of the obstacle relative to the vehicle. When the direction of the obstacle relative to the vehicle is to the front of the vehicle, virtual lines (231, 232, 233, and 235), which are the virtual images of the line images, are concave with respect to a first direction. When the direction of the obstacle relative to the vehicle is to the rear of the image, the virtual lines are concave with respect to a second direction opposite to the first direction. The position of a virtual obstacle image (234 or 236), which is a virtual image of the obstacle image, differs depending on the direction of the obstacle relative to the vehicle in the widthwise direction.
