PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and drive method of the display device that can enhance display quality with a moving line staying phenomenon, horizontal crosstalk phenomenon, and flicker phenomenon prevented or curbed.SOLUTION: A display device according to the present invention includes: a plurality of gate lines that are extended in a first direction; a plurality of data lines that are extended in a second direction crossing the first direction; and a plurality of pixels connected to the gate lines and the data lines. The pixels include a pixel of a k-th line (k is a natural number) and a pixel of a k+1-th line mutually adjacent to each other in the second direction via a gate line of a gate line i+1-th (i is a natural number). A first pixel arranged in a g-th column (g is a natural number) in the pixel of the k-th line, and a second pixel arranged in a g-th column in the k+1-th line are connected to a j-th data line (j is a natural number), and pixels of the k-th line are alternately connected to an i-th gata line and an i+1-th gate line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
