Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that takes an images of a road surface at a high resolution and solve a problem that it requires long time work to observe in a high-resolution road surface image a long road over the entire length.SOLUTION: From distance marks 16a, 16b... present on a road shoulder, a road surface image 36 of a range over multiple lanes is displayed along virtual lines 24, 30 extending in the road crossing direction. The image is displayed together with a small-scale road surface image 38 continuously extending along a road length. The road-crossing road surface image 36 at a high resolution is displayed for each distant mark. Therefore, the road surface image can meet a request for observation of both the detailed road surface and entire length of the road.
