Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display device making it easy to grasp that an image displayed on display means is an image showing a left backward area and right backward area of a vehicle.SOLUTION: Imaging means 1 images a left backward area and right backward area of a vehicle. Control means 55 allows display means 4 to display a left backward image L1 and right backward image R1. The control means 55 allows the display means 4 to display an image P2, which simulates a door mirror, as if the door mirror would open. The display means 4 includes a first display 20 that displays the left backward image L1 and a second display 30 that displays the right backward image R1. After the image P2 showing the door mirror that is fully open is displayed during a predetermined period of time, the control means 55 allows the display means 4 to display the left backward image L1 and right backward image R1 on the entire screen of the display means 4.
