Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating an arsenic-containing solution which converts As to be penta-valent and Fe to be di-valent in an arsenic-containing solution, i.e. an exudation of As from e.g. flue cinder, and can reduce contents of other metal elements.SOLUTION: A method of treating an arsenic-containing solution comprises adjusting pH of an arsenic-containing solution, i.e. a slurry or a solution containing penta-valent As, tri-valent Fe, Cu, Bi, Sb, Pb and Sn, to 1.5 or lower and adding a solution quality adjustment agent so as to reduce the tri-valent Fe to di-valent Fe and decrease contents of Bi, Sb, Pb and Sn in the arsenic-containing solution.
