Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ink or coating liquid from adhering to a side of a plate cylinder in gravure printing.SOLUTION: In a doctor device equipped with a suppressing member 11 that prevents flow of ink or coating liquid which is generated on a printing plate below a doctor blade contacting a printing plate 3a of a plate cylinder 3 from going toward both sides 3c of the plate cylinder, the suppressing member is formed of a sheet for a left side and a sheet for a right side. In each sheet is provided: a fixing panel 11a which is individually fixed to a position protruding to outside of both sides of the plate cylinder in a doctor holder; a downward inclined panel 11b which is continuously provided on a lower end of each fixing panel through a folding line; and an upward inclined panel 11c which is continuously provided on a lower end of each downward inclined panel through a folding line. In each downward inclined panel is formed an inclined edge 14 which extends downward from the fixing panel side toward a center side of the plate cylinder and crosses a ridge line between the printing plate and the side of the plate cylinder. Between the downward inclined panel and the upward inclined panel is formed a groove 15 by a folding line between both panels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
