Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a vehicular drive device equipped with a SOWC (Selectable One Way Clutch).SOLUTION: A vehicular drive device comprises: a case 31 accommodating a motor 2 and having an opening 31a which is opened toward an opposite side from an engine side; a cover member 32 attached to the case 31 to close the opening 31a; and a SOWC 8 switchable between an engagement state for regulating rotation of one rotary member in either one of a forward direction and a reverse direction and a release state for allowing rotation of the one rotary member in both forward and reverse directions. The SOWC 8 is arranged inside the cover member 32 on the same axis with the motor 2 and is mounted to the cover member 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
