Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfur vulcanization accelerator having improved tensile strength and rigidity; a thin glove containing no sulfur crosslinking agent; and a composition for producing the glove.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: There is provided a carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene elastomer containing 20-35 wt.% of an acrylonitrile residue, 3-8 wt.% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid residue, 52-76.9 wt.% of a butadiene residue and 0.1-5.0 wt.% of a crosslinkable compound forming a residue non-sulfur crosslinked structure, with respect to the weight of the elastomer, where as for the emulsion composition of the acrylonitrile-butadiene elastomer, a Mooney viscosity (ML(100°C)) of the carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene elastomer is 100-220, a content of a sulfur element detected by a neutralization titration method of combustion gas of a solid matter in the elastomer emulsion is 1 wt.% or less with respect to the weight of the elastomer, and a content of an insoluble component of tetrahydrofuran (THF) as a polymer gel component is 65-90 wt.% based on the total solid content of the emulsion composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
