Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly predict electric conductivity characteristics of an electronic material using a graphene sheet.SOLUTION: In an electric conductivity characteristic prediction method to be executed by a computer, the computer acquires a band structure of a conduction direction on an arbitrary k point in a reciprocal lattice space in a structure model of a graphene sheet having an atomic vacancy defect stored in a storage unit by using band calculation, acquires a maximum value of an inclination of each band present in a predetermined energy range, calculates a transmission coefficient by dividing the maximum value by an inclination of a band present in the predetermined energy range of an ideal graphene sheet having no atomic vacancy defect, totalizes the transmission coefficients calculated by acquiring the band structure and the maximum value for each k point of a direction vertical to the conduction direction, regulates the totalized transmission coefficient by the number of k points, acquires current information by integrating the regulated transmission coefficient in an energy range corresponding to a predetermined application voltage, and outputs the acquired current information to the storage unit.
