Abstract:
To provide an electronic control device that can improve the reliability of a relay function.SOLUTION: An ECU 1 includes external communication ports P1 and P2, CPUs 41 and 51, power supply circuits 43 and 53 that supply power supply voltage to the respective CPUs 41 and 51, an Ethernet switch (hereinafter referred to as a switch) 30, and an abnormality detection unit 45. The switch 30 can send and receive frames via the external communication ports P1 and P2, and can send and receive frames to and from the CPUs 41 and 51, and relays the received frames. The abnormality detection unit 45 detects any abnormality of the CPU 41 and the power supply voltage supplied from the power supply circuit 43 to the CPU 41. When an abnormality is detected by the abnormality detection unit 45, the CPU 51 changes the CPU that controls the switch 30 from the CPU 41 to the CPU 51, and further changes the setting of the switch 30 such that a frame addressed to the CPU 41 is transferred from the switch 30 to the CPU 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
