Abstract:
To provide an electronic key capable of changing a mode to a non-response mode without requiring registration in an electric lock control device to improve usability.SOLUTION: An electronic key, which remotely operates an electric lock 1 by outputting a lock operation signal (CS) with an authentication code in response to a request signal (RQ) from an electric lock control device 2 for controlling the electric lock 1, is configured: to include a mode conversion operation unit 3 operable by user; to have a passive invalidation mode in which a response to the request signal (RQ) is prohibited, in addition to a normal mode in which the lock operation signal (CS) is outputted in response to a request signal (RQ) from the electric lock control device 2; and a conversion operation between the normal mode and the passive invalidation mode is enabled by an operation to a mode conversion operation unit 3 when the request signal (RQ) is received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
