Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic view finder with high performance and high definition, which follows a design so that a conventional video camera device is not largely changed.SOLUTION: An electronic view finder includes: an eyepiece for performing enlarged display for an image of a reflection type liquid crystal display device; a lens barrel which is to hold and cover the eyepiece and the reflection type liquid crystal display device; a rotation mechanism section which includes a rotation axis in a horizontal/vertical direction to an eyepiece optical axis; a circuit board unit which can operate the reflection type liquid crystal display device; a variable volume of peaking, chromaticity, contrast and luminance of the reflection type liquid crystal display device; an operation switch of a tally, zebra and chromaticity of the reflection type liquid crystal display device; and a case for covering the circuit board unit. In the view finder, a display face of a reflection type liquid crystal display element is arranged in a position which can directly be viewed from the eyepiece on the eyepiece optical axis.
