An elevator door device that comprises: an elevator car door that opens and closes the door to the car doorway; and a landing door that opens and closes the door to the landing. The car door comprises: a first plate material 19 that is attached so as to follow the travel direction of the car; and a second plate material 21 that is attached further on the door opening side than the first plate material 19 and is attached so as to follow the travel direction of the car. When the car door opens, the second plate material 21 displaces so as to narrow the gap to the first plate material 19. The landing door comprises: a first roller 29 that moves the landing door, by being pushed by the first plate material 19 or the second plate material 21; and a second roller 30 that is attached to a latch 32 that locks the landing door, said second roller deforming more easily than the first roller, having an outer diameter that is smaller than the gap between the first plate material 19 and the second plate material 21 when the car door is closed, releasing the latch by being pushed by the first plate material 19 to the door opening side, and being gripped and elastically deforming between the first plate material 19 and the second plate material 21 when the car door and the landing door are open.
