Abstract:
To solve the conventional problems in which the number of persons capable of using an elevator is limited since a group management system for collectively managing a plurality of cars is usually used in a conventional elevator and an elevator operation control system interlocking the release of door locking of a building with an elevator landing call by utilizing a security system exist, and to eventually provide an interlocking system capable of reducing the waiting time of a user at a landing in an existing building having an automatic door based on operation states of the elevator and the automatic door without newly providing a large-scale facility.SOLUTION: An elevator system includes an automatic door which is provided at a position facing an elevator landing and opened/closed by object detection, a number-of-person estimation device for estimating the number of persons passing through the automatic door based on a door opening time of the automatic door, a landing call registration device for comparing the estimated number of the passing persons with the capacity of the car to determine the number of cars responding to the landing call, and an operation control device for delivering the determined number of cars.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
