Abstract:
To provide an elevator that can prevent a person from falling into the hoistway through the opening after the passenger door is manually opened.SOLUTION: There is provided a key detection unit 41 that detects that an elevator 1 is in non-automatic operation in which the car is not being raised or lowered in automatic operation, an acceleration sensor 50 that detects a physical quantity that the key detection unit 41 can identify the acceleration of the passenger door 20 when the passenger door 20 is manually open during the non-automatic operation, and door deceleration means 85 that reduces the speed at which the passenger door 20 opens when the physical quantity is a value within the deceleration required range indicating that the acceleration of the passenger door 20 when it opens is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
