Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine heat removal amount control system capable of increasing a temperature of exhaust gas without deteriorating fuel efficiency.SOLUTION: In an engine heat removal amount control system, a post processing device 30 mounted with an SCR and a DPF is connected to an exhaust system of an engine 10. The engine heat removal amount control system has: two separate circuits, an engine cooling water circuit 11 provided with a first radiator 17 and a first pump 12 to cool the engine 10 and an EGR cooling water circuit 18 provided with a second radiator 21 and a second pump 19 to cool an EGR cooler 27; an exhaust gas temperature sensor 25 installed on the exhaust system leading to the post processing device 30; and an SCR inlet temperature sensor 35 installed on the post processing device 30. In heating the exhaust gas to the temperature suitable for the post processing device 30, the engine heat removal amount control system controls heat removal amounts of the respective circuits by allowing the first pump 12 and the second pump 19 to be stopped or independently operated when respective temperatures obtained by the exhaust gas temperature sensor 25 and the SCR inlet temperature sensor 35 are less than thresholds and thereby increasing the temperature of the exhaust gas while minimizing deterioration of fuel efficiency.
