Abstract:
To provide an engine control device, for an engine mounted with at least two high-pressure fuel pumps, which: has functions to determine allocation amounts of fuel to be injected into respective high-pressure fuel pumps, to calculate injection command values for the high-pressure fuel pumps when switching the allocation amounts; and is capable of curbing fluctuation in fuel injection amounts by reducing fluctuation in a fuel pressure when switching the allocation amounts and thereby preventing an exhaust performance from being degraded and curbing fluctuation in engine rotation by reducing abrupt changes in driving loads of the high-pressure fuel pumps and thereby improving an operation performance.SOLUTION: When an injection amount allocation determination section 130 determines to change allocation amounts of fuel to be injected, a preliminarily calculated increase or decrease amount (in drive timing) is used to adjust basic drive timing to targeted basic drive timing based on the allocation amounts of fuel to be injected after a change and an engine state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
