Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of preventing adhesion of condensed water generated by cooling exhaust gas to an NOx sensor at a high temperature in an environment of an extremely low outside air temperature.SOLUTION: An engine includes a urea water injection control section, an SCR catalyst, an exhaust temperature sensor, an NOx sensor, and a control section. The exhaust temperature sensor detects an exhaust temperature which is a temperature of exhaust gas. The NOx sensor includes a detecting section for detecting nitrogen oxide contained in the exhaust gas, and a heater section for heating the detecting section up to a temperature at which the nitrogen oxide can be detected. The control section determines whether to perform heating treatment based on the exhaust temperature while correcting influence of variation in the temperature of the exhaust gas caused by the flow of the exhaust gas between the exhaust temperature sensor and the NOx sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
