Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a concrete slab, capable of easily suppressing a seismic isolator's distortion caused by contraction of concrete.SOLUTION: A seismic isolation structure includes: a seismic isolator 10 on which a pole 20 is installed; and a concrete slab 1 that is constructed on the pole. The concrete slab 1 is constructed so as to be divided into two sections, at each of which the slab 1 is supported via the seismic isolator 10. After installing concrete of each section of the slab 1, a mold is removed and a jack 2 is arranged between the adjacent sections of the slab 1 before moving both sections of the slab 1 toward the outside using the jack 2 to enlarge the slab 1's gap. A filling material is, then, filled between both sections of the slab 1 before connecting the sections of the slab 1. At this time, distortion is generated in the seismic isolator 10 but passage of days and progress of contraction of the slab 1 finally eliminate the distortion in the seismic isolator 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
