An extraction bag (1A) has: a bag body (3) that is formed from a water-permeable filtering sheet; a thin board-shaped member (10) that is provided to an outer surface of the bag body (3); and an extraction material (M) with which the bag body (3) is filled. The bag body (3) has two facing surfaces (3x, 3y) and an upper edge (3a), and the thin board-shaped member (10) has a grip section (11) that extends in a bag body vertical direction on one surface (3x) among the two surfaces. An upper section of the grip section (11) is fixed to an upper section of the one surface (3x), and a lower section of the grip section (11) can be lifted up from the one surface (3x). The lower section of the grip section (11) is provided with a vertical fold line (L1) in the bag body vertical direction that allows the lower section to be folded in two. A pair of diagonal fold lines (L2) that extend from opposing side edges of the grip section (11) toward the upper end of the vertical fold line (L1) or a line of extension thereof are formed in a portion of the grip section (11) that is liftable and is above the vertical fold line (L1). This extraction bag (1A) is of a teabag type, with which an extracted liquid is obtained by submerging the bag body in hot water, and an extracted liquid of sufficient strength can easily be obtained therewith.
