Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency brake force generating system and method in which an emergency brake force to be transmitted to running wheels can be maximized.SOLUTION: An emergency brake force generating system comprises an engine 130 for igniting fuel injected by an injector and air to generate a rotating force; a cooling fan arranged to feed air to one side of the engine and to be rotated by a rotating force of the engine; a cooling fan clutch 110 arranged to transmit selectively the rotating force of the engine to the cooling fan; a speed change gear 130 arranged to rotate a running wheel by variably changing a gear ratio upon inputting of the rotating force of the engine; and a control part 150 for directly connecting the cooling fan with the engine through the cooling fan clutch upon occurrence of the emergency braking signal to increase a load to the rotation of the engine through the cooling fan.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
