Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately identify an eyeball of an object person through simple authentication processing.SOLUTION: A personal authentication device (information processing device 20) comprises: an image acquisition unit 21 for acquiring a first pupil image obtained by imaging an eyeball of an object person with the use of a camera 10 and a second pupil image obtained by imaging an eyeball of an object person which is the same as or different from the object person after the first pupil image is acquired; an outline distance calculation unit 22 which executes processing for calculating an outline distance from a center of a pupil to a plurality of sampling points on an outline thereof for the first pupil image and the second pupil image, respectively; and an individual authentication unit 23 which identifies an eyeball by determining a correlation value between the outline distance obtained from the first pupil image and the outline distance obtained from the second pupil image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
